The College was established in June, 1966 to take up the challenges of effective education and training of professionals for careers in Arts and commerce. The institute has excellent infrastructure. HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT of students is the only drive of the institute. The college and Dehgam Taluka Education Society have developed under the leadership of the then income tax commissioner, Shri Mangalbhai P. Patel who nurtured the Institute for last 36 years. The institute further flourished and developed under the profound guidance and leadership of renowned tax Guru Shri Mukesh Patel, who shaped up the entire campus with new academic initiatives and solid infrastructure. The College has well equipped class rooms, interactive learning center, beautiful premises, well natured garden, separate reading hall, rich library, fully equipped computer lab, DELL Lab, healthy academic atmosphere, staff residence, Auditorium, conference room and a play ground to make solid infrastructure of College. The institute provides five full-fledge subjects at UG level. The College has proud history of Sports, NSS and NCC. The active participation of institute in co-curricular activities has enabled to snatch numerous trophies and awards from various youth festivals and sports meets. Our College aims to educate, train, develop and prepare young generation in the field of Arts, commerce and business to make them effective, confident and self reliant. Ever since its establishment, the institution is benefited with Visionary Management Authorities and enthusiastic Principals. In first cycle, NAAC has accredited our institution at B level (2.32) on 31/03/2007. During the post Accreditation period, the prestigious status of AAA has been awarded by the KCG in 2015 CGPA (2.49).

Institution has initially remained eager and active regarding all-round development of the students. To fortify the same, student oriented activities are geared up through our College Career Guidance Centre, Poor Boys’ Library, N.C.C and N.S.S. Students’ complaints or demands are also justified impartially. Students are encouraged to participate in various activities/competitions held by College/University. The institution has always been at the forefront in consultancy and extension activities NCC and SPORTS. The institute stirs a number of activities in co-ordination with other academic/social organizations.

The institution has spent 50 years of its esteemed existence. This institution is fulfilling its mission and vision and has fortified a number of youths with higher education.
